miwo - AI Kuzushi-ji Recognition App
miwo is an AI-powered app designed to assist users in converting kuzushi-ji (cursive Japanese script) into modern text. Developed by ROIS-DS CODH, the app allows users to capture images of kuzushi-ji texts and convert them with the press of a button. Named after "Genji Monogatari" Chapter 14 "Miotsukushi," miwo aims to guide users through the world of kuzushi-ji documents.
miwo enables users to recognize and convert kuzushi-ji characters in images captured by the camera or downloaded from the internet. It provides options to display recognized characters on the image, correct inaccuracies, output results as text for external use, save recognition results within the app, and search for kuzushi-ji examples in CODH's dataset.
